Team Spirit EXPERiENCE
Our Team Spirit Program is a great way to meet our Hot Air Balloon Calypso, and bring “uplifting” energy to your group, yourself, or your family.
We gather early in the morning and assemble our hot air balloon. We encourage you to participate under the guidance of our pilot and our experienced crew. We work together to inflate the balloon and give you the experience of buoyancy as you ascend from the ground. And what a fun way to enhance your perspective and see the world from an expanded point of view!
You’ve surely heard the phrase there is no “i” in team. We believe that as you come to know yourself more deeply, you will contribute more honestly with your team or group. It’s not about whether or not you fly, it’s about digesting the EXPERiENCE and checking in with what’s true for you. There is a place for everyone to participate!
So whether it’s a team building tether flight, or free flying near the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Calypso captures the wonder in your heart!

My love of flying goes back as far as I can remember. It all began in our Cessna 152 as a young girl, flying with my dad over our neighborhood and our fabulous family vacations. As I began a family of my own, we continued the flying journey in our twin engine plane and gave the same gift to our children. It wasn’t until late in my 50s that I finally realized my own dream.
I invited a balloon pilot friend to stay in my home during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, and after 10 days of crewing for her, I was hooked. One lesson and seven months later, I purchased my first balloon and my instruction began. I continue to refine my skills to pilot an aircraft with no built in navigation or steering mechanism. I’ve learned a ton about weather and the power of Mother Nature. And I continue to discover little “stuff” along the way that still trips me up.
I’ve been fortunate to fly in many places in the world and have met some incredible people along the way. My greatest joy is to share this gift of flying with people who might not otherwise get in a balloon. Calypso, my crew and I love delivering the gift of flight to people in digestible pieces, conquering the fear of heights, the uncertainty of flight, and creating memorable days with family and friends!
